Ok, here's a bold move. I have auditions for DePaul in less than two weeks, and I figure that one way I can significantly improve is to get feedback from whomever will give it, especially actors I know. It's everything I've been craving in a gay rights movement: sincere, informed, and well-organized grassroots actions that happen consistently in solid numbers. I filed for unemployment today, as I have been pounding the good earth trying to find a job and been entirely unsuccessful. Life without a source of income is weird. I don't like it. Something must be done, and until that something is me getting a bloody job, unemployment benefits don't sound too bad to me.
